I’m Certifiable
Because there is just too much to know in the field of Information Technology, I use certification paths to help structure my studies and learning. While I admit certifications are not the be-all-end-all to knowledge, much less competency, they do help us stay focused and ensure we don’t miss out on the basics.
Each morning, for the past several years, I’ve enjoyed a big glass of “Microsoft Kool-Aid”; as such, my learning has closely followed their technologies.
I also teach Microsoft infrastructure technology courses in my spare time, so certification is important in multiple aspects of my career.
